For so very long there has been a misunderstanding of the Ministry of the Prophet and who the Prophet is. The Prophet first of all, is a Kingdom Ministry Gift according to Eph 4:11 and he or she is just a person who has been divinely gifted with the nature and ability of Christ and the Spirit Man whom is the real Prophet.

The Ministry of the Prophet is one that points the church in the direction of the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of Heaven is a government and the Ministry of the Prophet is a govermental office according to Eph. 4:11. The Prophet is one that functions from a govermental system that God our King has set in motion.

The Ministry of the Prophet is called in the earth to be a protector to the Local Church and the Local Church Pastor. The Prophet is a watchman for the Church. There are many Local Churches that fail because the Ministry of the Prophet is not in place.Jesus is the chief Prophet and the Prophet must receive his instructions from the chief.

Jesus was able to receive the mind and the purposes of God, and to know what was in the heart of human beings through His Office of the Prophet. He had the ability to counsel  and provide the purposes of God for an individuals life, such as He reveals to Peter (John 21:15-23) was an ability that came from His Ministry as a Prophet.

The Prophet will always have the ability to prophesy, but prophesying is only 10% of what the Prophet is called to do. The Prophet of God in the New Testament has a different mandate from the Old Testament Prophet. The Prophet of God in the New Testament is a confirmer and one that points the church into the direction of God.

The Prophet when ministering with his or her Gifted Office and Prophetic Anointing has the same authority for reproving, correcting, directing, and instructing in the Rhema Word of the Lord as the other four Ministry Gifts would have in their teachings.

A person doesn’t call or appoint him or herself to any of the Gifts of Ministry. This is strictly done by the Holy Ghost. It is so very important that those that are called to ministry understand and know what God is calling them to do because there shall come a testing time in your ministry, and one will only be able to withstand the testing if they are in their correct ministry place.

The Prophetic is one of the nearest and dearest ministries to the heart of God. The Ministry of the Prophet and the Voice of the Prophet was set-up by God as a primary method of communicating with His people in the earth. Prophets participate in all of God’s plans in the earth. It was the Ministry of the Prophet that predicted and prepared the way and the coming of Jesus is the Book of John.

It is so very important that we understand who the Prophet is. The training and preparation of a Prophet is so tough hat many will fall by the wayside, but if you would withstand the training and preparation you will blossom like a flower in the Spring. The Prophetic Ministry is the Voice of the Lord in the earth, and with that voice many things can be birthed. With this type of anointing the devil will hate a Prophet of God, so the Prophet must be well educated on the ways of the enemy.
